  • OK so you have figured out how to come up with the list price  , what is the best list price  and have listed your property with an agent or used our flat fee listing service  and have your property listed in the MLS, CONGRATULATIONS! You are weeks away from selling.

    However, if you are selling it yourself this is something that marketing people get ahold of and for the next few weeks you will be flooded  with calls and visitors coming to your door unannounced. Agents saying they may have a buyer but really seeing if you are ready to have a realtor sell it for you, home services companies, house cleaners...........they all call, mail and even stop by if you don't have one of our agents or our flat fee support packet to protect you.

    Then come the predatory lenders (if it isnt in the MLS) to see if you are selling it yourself because you need money. Then the predatory buyers , usually a team, that try to offer "cash" or "funding in 7 days" or the "high low"; all techniques that try to grind you down on your price and prey on your inexperience and not having a realtor.

    If you use another agent or try to list using other companies prepare yourself for a host of calls right when you list and every 30 days till you sell. But here are the things once you commit to selling your home.
